Cognitive behavioural Therapy

CBT simply put identifies the relationship between our thoughts, behaviors, emotions and physical sensations. It aims to understand these patterns to alleviate individuals' distress by breaking the cycle.

CBT uses a personalized map to understand individuals' difficulties and offers strategies to facilitate change.

CBT is evidence based, present focused, goal oriented and time limited. In between each session, the individual undertaking this treatment will be asked to fully engage in practicing the skills learned and reflect on the previous sessions in order to strengthen the learning and facilitate change.
